Who builds it

One person. Me.

I am Carson Holder. I build these out of Virginia Beach, one at a time, under Deliberate Services LLC. There is no account manager and no team you get handed off to. You will always be talking to the person who is actually building your site.

I am not going to pretend I have a wall of client logos. I do not. What I have is up there: sites I built to show what I can do, and a first look at yours that I will build before you pay me anything. Judge me on that.

Twelve payments of $249 is $2,988. Paying for the build up front and adding Care would run about $3,508 over the same year. Spreading it out costs you less in year one, not more.

Would rather own it outright? A one to three page site runs $1,200 to $1,800. Five to seven pages runs $2,800 to $4,500. A store runs $5,500 to $8,000. Those are quoted to your exact size, so they take a short conversation. Tell me what you have in mind and I will send you a number.

How much does a website cost?

A one to three page site runs $1,200 to $1,800. Five to seven pages runs $2,800 to $4,500. A store runs $5,500 to $8,000. Care is $59 a month after launch. If you would rather not pay up front, it is $0 today and $249 a month for twelve months, then $59 a month and the site is yours. Every price is on my pricing page.

What happens if I stop paying?

On the monthly plan it takes twelve payments to own it. There is no lock in. If you stop before the twelve months are up, the site comes down and you owe nothing further. I hold it for ninety days in case you come back. Once the twelve months are paid the site is yours, and Care after that is month to month and you can cancel any time.

Do I own the website?

Yes. The design and the content are yours once the build is paid. On the monthly plan that is once the twelve months are paid. If you ever want to take it somewhere else, I hand it over. The full terms are at craftandsite.com/terms.

How long does it take to build a website?

It depends on the size of the site, but most local business sites come together quickly once I have your details. I start by designing a real preview, so you see it before anything is scheduled.

Will my website work on phones?

Yes. Most of your customers will find you on a phone, so every site is designed mobile first and looks flawless on every screen, from a phone to a wide desktop.

Do you host the website and keep it running?

Yes. I host your site, keep it fast and secure, and stay on call as your business grows. Your site is handled, not homework.

Do I have to write the content myself?

No, not the words. You tell me about your business and I write the site from that. Pictures are different: I use the photos you already have, and if there is a gap I will tell you before we start. Paid stock or a photographer is a separate cost and it goes on the quote up front, never after.

What if I already have a website?

Send me the address and I will show you a first look at what it could become. Plenty of sites just look dated or are not doing anything for the business.
